Chemix Launchpad — get predictable risk from discount auctions
GTA Trading Community: Welcome everyone to AMA: GTA x Chemix Launchpad! Chemix Ecosystem is a DeFi service system that aims to build a market for illiquid equity or tokens of early-stage crypto companies. Our special guest today is Aqua Chiang, marketing lead, Larra, regional marketing of Chemix Ecosystem.

Chemix Larra: Hello, my name is Larra, I’m from Chemix and I’m currently in charge of operations and promotions for the European market.
Chemix Aqua: Happy lunar month, I am Aqua, daily in charge of marketing on Chemix Eco.
1. GTA Trading Community: Nice, so let’s start our AMA for today. So the first question, Can you introduce the origin of the name Chemix Ecosystem, which sounds like the name of a certain chemical laboratory?
Chemix Larra: Chemix Ecosystem is derived from Chemical reaction, which corresponds to synthetic assets that are one of our core businesses, and x represents unknown and unlimited possibilities. The combination of the two represents the rich and diverse results of the “combination” of synthetic assets. The icon of our project is a round-bottomed flask, hoping that more users can become Crypto chemists, creating endless possibilities.
2. GTA Trading Community: Very nice answer. The next one, recently, Chemix Ecosystem is undergoing project upgrades, and the layout of the entire ecology will also change. Could you give us a detailed introduction of the project history and the planning after upgrading?
Chemix Aqua: In 2021, we launched the synthetic asset platform Chemix Labs. In the 2nd half of 2021, we launched the Second Market Chemix Pad(Launchpad), realizing the application scenario of “tokens with a certain lock-up period can be traded in advance through synthetic assets + auction mechanism”. Since its launch in August, there have been about 30 auctions completed, with a total turnover of over 7.5 million U.S. dollars, making it the most important and most popular business sector in Chemix Ecosystem.
Currently, we are upgrading the overall technology of Chemix Ecosystem, and we expect to complete the business optimization and code refactoring of Launchpad products in the 1st quarter of 2022. At the same time, we will add two sections, Chemix DID credit system and Chemix DEX, and integrate each product into our Chemix Ecosystem, forming a closed-loop of synthesis, issuance, and trading of assets.
In the future, Chemix Ecosystem will be updated with Chemix Pad as core business, Chemix DID, Chemix DEX, and Chemix Labs as supplementary ecological structure, forming a new service system for issuance, trading, and settlement. As a result, it is possible to establish a decentralized service system for asset synthesis and trading for the illiquid equity and illiquid token of early crypto projects.
3. GTA Trading Community: Let’s talk about Chemix Pad(which was called Chemix Launchpad), the main section of Chemix. What are the differences and advantages compared to other launchpad platforms?
Chemix Larra: Chemix Pad is a launchpad where you can buy hot tokens at discounted prices. Users will be able to buy tokens such as FTX token (FTT), Coin98(C98), Harmony (ONE), Mask Network (Mask), Acala(ACA), Kava(KAVA), Immutable X(IMX), Moonriver(MOVR), Moonbeam(GLMR), Illuvium(ILV)… at a discounted price. These are all hot tokens and are listed on major exchanges like Binance, Bybit, Huobi, Kucoin, Gate…. As in the last 2 auctions, users bought FTT for $34.46 (current price $47), One for $0.1877 (current price $0.223). So with Chemix Pad, users will buy tokens with an extremely good positions.
Chemix Pad differs from other launchpad platforms in the following way: Other launchpad platforms IDO, IEO new projects, simply understood that users have to invest in venture capital. We do not launch new projects now, users do not need to spend money on new projects, do not need to invest in venture capital in IDO, IEO projects. Chemix Pad allows them to buy tokens already listed on top exchanges (Binance, Bybit…), guaranteed tokens, tokens with large liquidity. So Chemix Pad ensures benefits for users.
4. GTA Trading Community : We move to the next question. Compared with the popular platform Coinlist, what are the advantages of Chemix Pad? What are the prospects for development?
Chemix Aqua: As a completely decentralized auction platform, all assets(CVTs) of Chemix Pad are under the control of the user’s own decentralized wallet(storage), which means that users take no risk of the leakage of centralized account security information and thus account assets being stolen. Moreover, data of user behavior is transparent and can be tracked on-chain, and the transaction amount cannot be inflated. In addition, as we all know, Immutable-X as a promising project was sold on Coinlist last season but many friends of us failed to purchase it due to the complex purchase rules. Then we make efforts to invite early-stage investors to share some IMX on Chemix Pad last DEC. 11th to meet the demands of the communities.
We believe there will be more leading investors to play as issuers on Pad and try our best to supply more promising potential assets to the communities.
5. GTA Trading Community: the last question of part 1. Can you tell me about auctions held recently? When is the next auction?
Chemix Larra: Thanks to many Chemix Eco partners, the current high-quality projects on the market will continue to be launched on Chemix Pad, such as FTT, Coin98, Kava, Mask, Harmony, Immutable-X, Illuvium, Moonbeam, Moonriver &, etc..
For example, there was an auction for FTT on JAN 29th, the market price was 42USDT and the settled price on Chemix Pad was 34.46 USDT. So APR of the last FTT auction is 614.34%.
The next auction will be active tomorrow for Mask. The last auction of Mask was held on JAN 18th, The market price was 8.94USDT and the settled price was 7.81USDT. So APR of the last MASK auction is 211.26%.
Mask Network is the core product of Dimension, which is positioned to become the bridge that connects internet users from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0. The foundational technology of Mask Network is a peer-to-peer encrypted messaging application, with new functions continuously being created around this foundation.
6. GTA Trading Community: Now we move to part 2. How can we participate in Pad? What are the requirements?
Chemix Aqua: there are 2 requirements
Requirement 1: WHITELIST, meeting one of the following options;
Option #1: Hold 5 QSD-BUSD-LP(~10USDT) in your wallet.
Option #2: Hold 10KUN(~5USDT) in your wallet
Option #3: Hold 100 CEC (migration from 10KUN, ~5USDT) in your wallet
So briefly, users just need to hold 5 USDT to join Launchpad.
In the future, we will allow everyone to obtain whitelist qualifications through diversified methods such as by pledging CEC or holding specific types of Tokens.

7. GTA Trading Community: Very good answer. How do participants make money? What is the general profitability?
Chemix Larra: At present, the locked-up tokens traded on the platform basically use Dutch auctions. The price drops over time, and the participants obtain the corresponding assets at relatively low cost and sell them in the open market to earn the difference or choose to hold them long-term to earn excess returns. Users could earn profit even in bearish markets and take no risk of any loss from the bearish market by hedging tools on derivatives markets.
According to statistics, since the launch of the platform in August, We calculated the user’s APR, and the annual return is far over 60% and even 800% by the last auction.
To be prevented from any loss due to the market turning to bearish before the native token is released, you could short the auction token on a derivatives platform so as to earn a fixed profit.

8. GTA Trading Community: In terms of usage scenarios and marketing cooperation, what plans do you have for the project Token?
Chemix Aqua: Our team used to focus on developing projects and upgrading products. With the upgrade of the project, the application scenarios of Token will increase, including, for example, whitelist acquisition, stable coin minting, auction fee discounts, issuer pledge, Pad income dividends &, etc.
In terms of external cooperation, we have been participating in the DODO Booster Program, partnering with Orange, an Ontology-based DID solution to decentralized credit&trust with more application scenarios related to DID reputation, cBridge(Celer Network) supporting $CEC transaction between Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain with extremely fast speeds and low gas cost, and Chainlink(Price Feeds) supporting Chemix Labs.

Chemix Larra: There is an event within two months for new users and invitees. 10. GTA Trading Community: Now the last question of part 2. Chemix Launchpad is a product of Chemix Ecosystem. There are three types of auctions that are here: Dutch Auction, English Auction, and Fixed Price Auction, can you talk about these three types and which types of users can join your Launchpad? Can they buy tokens of projects?
Chemix focuses on Dutch auctions with two distinct features. First, the bid price of tokens drops over time so that users have a chance to buy tokens at a cheaper price. Second, all the users who succeed to join in the auction will get tokens at the lowest price（the final settled price）no matter subscribing at the beginning or before the ending.
Compared with the primary market, users can eliminate risks via hedge tools. Compared with the secondary market, users can earn higher profits.
The English auction is also known as the “price increasing auction”. Auctions start at the bottom price. Users succeed to buy tokens by bidding higher prices than others. English Auction is suitable for NFT(non-standardized assets) and IDO. The market is very popular, but it has not been officially listed on ours.
Fixed-price Auction is suitable for founding teams who are not willing to sell their tokens at a discount but sold in the form of index funds or crypto funds.

1) Security and anonymity are always prioritized by BlockChain projects in the development of project platforms and technologies. So, do you have any technological solutions or plans to enhance user trust in these issues?
Chemix Aqua: Chemix Launchpad is different from the over-collateralization model of other synthetic asset competitors in that it introduces an external credit system into its self-developed partial mortgage business model. The issuer forms a Chemix DID score by verifying the decentralized credit system and combining it with the platform’s internal credit system. In this way, the pledge ratio when issuing assets can be reduced within a certain range from the corresponding credit rating, thereby increasing the utilization rate of funds. For the auction participants, the funds raised under partial mortgages are locked in the contract before the completion of the process, which fully guarantees the security of the transaction.
As a completely decentralized auction platform, all assets of Chemix Launchpad are in the user’s own decentralized wallet, which means that users do not need to worry about the risk of the leakage of centralized account security information and thus account assets being stolen. Moreover, data of user behavior is transparent and can be tracked on the chain, and the transaction amount cannot be inflated. In addition, compared with Coinlist, Chemix Launchpad currently does not focus on the IDO market. In other words, it is to “mirror” the locked private equity by generating cToken, and further trade and circulate through the auction, providing users with a richer and more robust investment channel.
2) Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
Chemix Aqua: Yes, we are willing to have more interaction and to be closer to all the community members. As just said, Dutch Auction/Discount Sales now are suitable to users who want to eliminate risks from the primary market and meanwhile earn a higher profit than it from the secondary market.
3) Staking, NFT is very hottest, do you think you will apply NFT technology to your products in the achieved future?
Chemix AquaYes I agree with you. There have already been some that said “staking” and “NFT”. For example, formerly the liquidity farming on Chemix Labs Staking, DODOex Booster program, and PancakeSwap. And the NFT-DID via Orange(Ontology) solution.

5) CEC is the governance token of Chemix Ecosystem, used in Chemix Ecosystem’s governance voting. How many CEC do users need to hold to participate in governance and what issues can be proposed in the project? Also, are there any benefits to holding CEC tokens for the long term?
Chemix Larra: CEC is one of the options of Whitelist requirements for Chemix Pad. Since it has not been listed yet, users could also hold KUN instead.
10KUN(100CEC) at least for the whitelist and CEC could be migrated from KUN on the official website.
There will be more governance functions in the near future in Chemix DAO.
